We are specialists in the construction of farm and rural buildings. Here's an example of a recent construction job we did where we installed a new stable block.
Problem
Oakfield House wanted to replace its brick built stables with a much bigger stable block to house its horses. Based in Coleshill in the West Midlands, they needed a contractor that would undertake all the associated drainage and groundworks as well as the supply and installation of the stables building.
They asked us to quote on the job, along with a number of other construction contractors. Whilst they found we weren’t the cheapest quote, they felt that we offered the best value for money and having used us before they felt reassured by the quality of our workmanship.
Solution
The construction work for the stables was completed over a three month period. During this time, we completed all the groundworks, including the ground preparation and foundations. We also installed all of its drainage, such as a sewage treatment plant, the electric ducting and water pipe.
As part of the package, we also undertook all the external construction work for Oakfield. This ranged from the brickwork to the erection of the steel framed building to the guttering. And to provide a nice finish, we cladded the stables in Castle Boarding timber and installed the internal concrete flooring in a smooth finish.
